Research & Evidence

Adenoregulin is a peptide isolated from the skin secretion of the giant monkey frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor), the source of “kambo.” It belongs to the dermaseptin family of antimicrobial peptides and was identified for its activity at adenosine receptors and its broad antimicrobial properties. It is one of many bioactive peptides found in this frog’s secretion.
