CJC-1295 DAC, a long-acting GHRH(1-29) analog that binds albumin to sustain elevated growth hormone and IGF-1 for days after a single dose.
What Is CJC-1295 DAC?
CJC-1295 DAC is a long-acting synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29) fitted with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) that binds circulating albumin, greatly extending its half-life. Where the “no-DAC” version acts briefly to mimic a natural GH pulse, the DAC version produces a sustained elevation of GH and IGF-1 — a so-called “GH bleed” rather than a pulse. It is sold as a research chemical and used off-label for body composition and recovery. It is not an approved dietary supplement or medicine.
Evidence
There is real, verifiable human pharmacology here: in randomised, placebo-controlled ascending-dose trials in healthy adults, a single subcutaneous injection of CJC-1295 DAC increased mean GH several-fold for roughly six days and IGF-1 for around nine to eleven days, with weekly/biweekly dosing sustaining the elevation 1Reference 1RCTProlonged stimulation of GH and IGF-I secretion by CJC-1295, a long-acting analog of GH-releasing hormone, in healthy adults — randomised, placebo-controlledView study →. These are pharmacodynamic/safety trials in healthy volunteers rather than clinical-outcome studies, so downstream claims about muscle gain, fat loss or anti-ageing benefit in humans are not established by those trials and should be treated as uncited. Note also that non-physiological, continuously elevated GH/IGF-1 is a mechanistic safety concern, not a demonstrated benefit.
