N-Benzoyltyramine is a naturally occurring tyramine amide (n-acylamine), found in Echinacea. It is well tolerated orally (low toxicity).

N-Benzoyltyramine is an amide of tyramine and benzoic acid, one of the minor amide constituents reported from Echinacea and a handful of other plants. Very little specific pharmacology has been established for it on its own.
