Research & Evidence

This is an N-isobutyl alkylamide of a twelve-carbon dodecadienoic acid, belonging to the alkylamide family characteristic of Echinacea and related plants. Like other members of the group it is a pungent, lipophilic constituent studied collectively for sensory and proposed immune-modulating effects. Little is established about this individual compound on its own.
