Perrottetinenic acid
Perrottetinenic acid is the carboxylic-acid precursor of perrottetinene, a THC-like cannabinoid from liverworts.
Classification
Perrottetinenic acid is a cannabinoid acid, part of the other constituents class. Compounds outside the major chemical classes — nucleosides, simple amines, mixed volatile oils, and as-yet uncategorised constituents.
Where Does It Come From? (1)
Perrottetinenic acid is a naturally occurring cannabinoid acid, found in Liverwort. It is well tolerated orally (low toxicity).
Perrottetinenic acid is the carboxylic-acid form of perrottetinene, found in Radula liverworts, analogous to the relationship between THCA and THC in cannabis. As the biosynthetic precursor it is expected to be largely non-psychoactive until decarboxylated, and little specific pharmacology has been established for it.
