Andrographolide
A bitter labdane diterpenoid lactone and the main active constituent of andrographis (“King of Bitters”); traditionally used for colds and fevers and studied for anti-inflammatory, antiviral and immune-stimulating activity.

Andrographolide is one of the diterpenes, part of the terpenoids class. The largest class of plant compounds, built from five-carbon isoprene units — the essential-oil aromatics, resins, bitter principles, saponins, and plant sterols.
