Apomorphine

An aporphine alkaloid and potent dopamine-receptor agonist reported in water lilies such as Nymphaea, and used pharmaceutically in Parkinson’s disease; it is psychoactive and emetic.

Apomorphine is one of the isoquinoline alkaloids, part of the alkaloids class. Nitrogen-containing, often bitter and physiologically potent compounds — the group behind many of the strongest plant medicines and poisons.
