Leonotinin
A labdane diterpenoid from Leonotis (wild dagga), closely related to leonotin and likewise reported to show cytotoxicity against leukaemic cell lines.
Classification
Leonotinin is one of the diterpenes, part of the terpenoids class. The largest class of plant compounds, built from five-carbon isoprene units — the essential-oil aromatics, resins, bitter principles, saponins, and plant sterols.
