Research & Evidence
Medicagol is a coumestan, a class of polycyclic coumarin derivatives that occur in legumes such as red clover and alfalfa. It was originally characterised from Medicago species, from which it takes its name. Little is established about its specific biological activity in humans, and it is mainly of interest as one of the minor phenolic constituents of these forage and medicinal legumes.
