Nepetaefuran

A furanoid labdane diterpene from wild dagga (Leonotis nepetifolia), shown to suppress NF-κB signalling and so dampen LPS-driven inflammation in cell studies.

Nepetaefuran is one of the diterpenes, part of the terpenoids class. The largest class of plant compounds, built from five-carbon isoprene units — the essential-oil aromatics, resins, bitter principles, saponins, and plant sterols.
