Terpinene-4-ol is a naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol, found in Marjoram and Tea tree. It is well tolerated orally (low toxicity).

Terpinene-4-ol is a monoterpene alcohol occurring in marjoram and a wide range of other essential oils; the name is a variant spelling of terpinen-4-ol, the major active constituent of tea tree oil. It has been studied for antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity.
Toxicity & Safety
At the levels found in herbs and properly diluted essential oils it is generally well tolerated, though concentrated essential oils may irritate the skin and are not meant for internal use.
