Euphoriants lift the mood, producing a sense of pleasure, lightness or well-being. In a herbal context the effect is usually gentle and rides alongside a relaxing or stimulating action; the stronger, habit-forming euphoriants are flagged with appropriate caution.
Euphoriant is a sub-action of Psychoactive. Where psychoactive alters mood, perception or consciousness, euphoriant is its narrower, more targeted form.
