Oleo-resin
An oleo-resin is a naturally occurring mixture of an essential (volatile) oil and a resin exuded by a plant; the orris/Iris type carries the rhizome’s aromatic and resinous compounds.

Oleo-resin is one of the terpenoids. The largest class of plant compounds, built from five-carbon isoprene units — the essential-oil aromatics, resins, bitter principles, saponins, and plant sterols.
