Styptic
Stops bleeding on contact
Styptics (haemostatics) help stop bleeding — applied to a wound or taken to curb internal bleeding — chiefly through their astringent, tissue-tightening action. Filter to antihaemorrhagics for herbs used for heavier internal bleeding.
Styptic is a sub-action of Astringent. Where astringent tightens and tones tissue, styptic is its narrower, more targeted form.
