Diaphoretics promote sweating, helping the body manage fever and supporting elimination through the skin. Taken hot, they open the pores at the first sign of a cold or flu.

Diaphoretic is a sub-action of Antipyretic. Where antipyretic reduces fever, diaphoretic is its narrower, more targeted form.
