Choleretic
Stimulates the production of bile by the liver
Choleretics stimulate the liver to produce more bile. Closely related to cholagogues — which move bile out of the gallbladder — they support fat digestion, regular bowel movements and detoxification.
Choleretic is a sub-action of Hepatic. Where hepatic acts on and supports the liver, choleretic is its narrower, more targeted form.
