Get in touch with The Sunlight Experiment — corrections, research suggestions, and questions about the herbal monographs and compound database.
If you have a question about something on this site, a correction to a monograph, or a plant or compound you would like to see researched, get in touch.
Email: hello@thesunlightexperiment.com
Every message is read and answered by Justin Cooke, BHSc — the herbalist who writes and reviews the research here. There is no team and no support queue, so replies take as long as they take, but they do come.
What We Can Help With
- Corrections. If a citation is wrong, a dose looks off, or a claim has been overtaken by newer research, tell us. Point us at the paper if you have it. Accuracy matters more here than being right the first time.
- Research requests. Suggest a herb, compound, or condition you want covered. Requests genuinely shape what gets built next.
- Questions about the site itself — how the database is organised, where a source came from, how to read the evidence ratings.
What We Cannot Help With
We cannot give you personal medical advice. That includes whether a herb is safe for you, whether it interacts with your medication, what dose you should take, or what to do about a symptom. Nobody can answer those responsibly without knowing your full history, and doing it over email would be worse than useless — it would be unsafe.
Take those questions to your doctor, pharmacist, or a herbalist who can consult with you properly. See our medical disclaimer for the full picture.
If you think you are having a medical emergency or an adverse reaction to something, contact your local emergency number or poison control centre immediately.
